Elevance Health is seeking a Principal Cloud Security Architect to lead secure cloud strategy across AWS/Azure/GCP, shaping governance and standards for enterprise platforms. The role requires deep cloud security expertise, experience in regulated healthcare environments, and a track record of delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field with 11+ years of experience.
• Cloud security expertise across AWS, Azure and GCP with IAM, encryption and workload protection.
• DevSecOps and secure CI/CD pipelines experience.
• Experience in regulated environments, healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST and SOC2 frameworks.
• Certifications such as AWS/Security Specialty, CISSP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead secure cloud architecture design across multiple platforms.
• Define enterprise cloud security policies and guardrails.
• Champion DevSecOps practices and automated security testing.
• Mentor engineering teams and embed security in the SDLC.
• Advise leadership on cloud risk and emerging tech.
• Oversee technical design reviews and security verification.
