Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Principal Cloud Security Architect to drive secure cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will partner with OCISO and Enterprise Architecture to design secure, scalable architectures and champion DevSecOps practices across the SDLC.

The role demands deep cloud security expertise, mentorship to cloud engineering teams, and leadership in a security-first culture within a large healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field with at least 11 years of experience, or equivalent background.
• Experience designing secure, scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, ISO and other healthcare regulations.
• Proven ability to lead security-focused architecture and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Author and evangelize cloud security papers with OCISO and Enterprise Architecture.
• Lead design of secure cloud architectures and reference architectures.
• Define policies, standards and engineering guardrails for enterprise cloud security.
• Design automation for IAM, encryption, network security, and zero trust.
