Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Principal Cloud Security Architect to own security architecture across Azure and multi-cloud environments. You will design controls, monitor risk, drive remediation, and ensure compliance, balancing architectural leadership with hands-on execution.

You will collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and compliance teams to advance CNAPP administration, automation, and incident response, while communicating risk in business terms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience securing cloud environments.
• Security architecture and governance in a medium to large enterprise.
• Experience with Azure, AWS and/or GCP and cloud-native services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure Azure cloud architectures and controls.
• Lead CNAPP administration, prioritizing findings and remediation.
• Monitor posture, assess risks, and drive continual reduction in risk.
• Automate security policies and workflows using scripting and cloud tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security in deployments.
• Assist with incident response and post-mortem analysis.
