Acuity Brands is seeking a highly experienced Security Architect to lead secure architectures across cloud-native platforms, connected products, and enterprise apps. You will embed controls into architecture, development, and operations, working with engineering, DevOps, and platform teams.

The role emphasizes cloud security (Azure-first), CNAPP, and modern DevSecOps practices to reduce risk across infrastructure, workloads, and pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting security findings and remediation strategies to technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze business direction and risk for strategic technical solutions.
• Azure security certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead secure design and architecture reviews for cloud-native and distributed systems.
• Define and enforce CNAPP capabilities (CSM, CWPP, CIEM) and guardrails.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left security.
• Define cloud security standards, patterns, and reusable controls.
• Influence cross-functional teams to adopt Zero Trust principles.
