Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and govern a resilient security posture across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

Responsible for risk assessments, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and penetration testing, you will translate findings into remediation plans aligned to business risk and operational impact. This role emphasizes secure‑by‑design and automation‑first practices in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• One or more certifications: CISSP, GCLD, GPCS, GCPN, AZ-500, CCSP, CISM.
• 5+ yrs of experience in cybersecurity or a related role with enterprise and cloud security.
• Experience conducting security assessments, architecture reviews, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.
• Experience supporting audits and compliance against ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC 2.
• Strong collaboration with applications, infrastructure, and data teams.
• Proficiency with PKI, multifactor authentication, and enterprise identity services.
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the global security posture across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Design, deploy, and maintain security tools to enhance cybersecurity operations worldwide.
• Conduct and oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk evaluations.
• Perform security assessments and audits for policy and regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, NIST 800-53).
• Collaborate with applications, infrastructure, and data teams to embed security in architecture and CI/CD.
