Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and govern a resilient security posture across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. You will lead risk assessments, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and security tooling to monitor and remediate threats globally.

As a senior practitioner, you will mentor engineers, align security controls with standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS), and partner with engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT or related field.
• Professional certifications listed (CISSP, GCLD, GPCS, GCPN, AZ-500, CCSP, CISM) are required or preferred.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity with experience designing security controls across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Experience supporting audits against ISO 27001/NIST/SOC 2 and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen global security posture by designing and implementing controls across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Deploy and maintain security tools to enhance cybersecurity operations worldwide.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk evaluations with prioritized remediation.
• Perform security assessments and audits to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with applications, data, and infrastructure teams to embed security in architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor evolving cloud threats and frameworks to continuously improve cloud security posture.
• Undertake additional cloud and information security activities to improve resilience.
