Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building the next generation of cloud services for autonomous and intelligent robotics. The OCI Robotics Cloud team enables onboarding, fleet management, telemetry, and digital twins across industries with AI-driven, spec-based onboarding and standardized interfaces for rapid robot integration.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience in backend services/cloud platforms.
• Strong programming in Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Experience building REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, container orchestration.
• Experience delivering scalable, reliable production software.
• Strong design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate cloud-native services for robot platforms.
• Build scalable backend services using distributed systems and microservices.
• Design secure APIs, service contracts, SDKs, and edge interfaces for vendor integration.
• Develop AI-assisted onboarding capabilities and adapters for heterogeneous robots.
• Collaborate across robotics, AI, cloud infra, and product teams to deliver secure services.
• Improve reliability, scalability, observability, security, and performance of cloud services.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and cross-functional work.
• Apply best practices to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
