Job summary

Oracle’s OCI Robotics Cloud team is building a secure, scalable cloud-native robotics platform that enables onboarding, fleet management, telemetry, and digital twins across industries. We enable robot registration, identity management, mission orchestration, and software lifecycle management with AI-driven onboarding and reusable adapters.

The role focuses on designing and operating backend cloud services, REST APIs, and scalable architectures, while collaborating across robotics, AI, cloud

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience building backend services or cloud platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
• Experience developing scalable, reliable, and maintainable production software.
• Strong software design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate cloud-native services for robot registration and identity management.
• Build scalable backend services using distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Design secure APIs, service contracts, SDKs, and edge interfaces for vendor robots.
• Develop AI-assisted, spec-driven robot onboarding and adapter frameworks.
• Collaborate with robotics, AI, cloud teams to deliver production-ready services.
