Job summary

Rocket Money is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, SRE to lead the reliability and operational evolution of our platform. We run hundreds of services in production, processing billions of transactions and handling massive data and logs daily.

You will establish SLIs/SLOs, own disaster recovery, partner with product engineering teams, and advance our observability practices. A 5+ year track record in cloud or infrastructure engineering is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Defined SLIs and SLOs for real production services.
• Hands-on experience with an observability platform (Datadog preferred).
• Proficient in writing code for tooling, production debugging, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build reliability and resiliency across services.
• Define and review SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Own disaster recovery strategy and run drills.
• Partner with product engineering teams to own and operate services.
• Evolve observability platform across metrics, tracing, and logs.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
