Job summary

ClickHouse is building a pioneering Site Reliability Engineering team to own reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of its cloud infrastructure that runs ClickHouse databases. You will lead incident management, post-mortems, and continuous improvement, collaborating across Control Plane, Dataplane, Core, Security, Support and Operations.

You will use your Go and/or Python expertise to develop platforms and tools, implement monitoring, and drive chaos testing to ensure resilient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of Site Reliability Engineering or related experience.
• Proficient in Go and/or Python and production-grade distributed systems.
• Experience with ClickHouse in production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, secure, highly available systems.
• Establish and manage SLOs and SLAs for ClickHouse Cloud.
• Ensure monitoring and alerting across all ClickHouse Cloud components.
• Improve incident response processes and post-mortems for outages.
• Improve reliability and performance of ClickHouse services.
• Plan and drive Chaos initiatives across engineering teams.
• Manage on-call processes and escalation practices to minimize downtime.
