Job summary

Venmo is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer – Business Continuity to design, build, and operate the resilience of Venmo’s critical systems. You’ll lead chaos engineering, incident playbooks, and disaster recovery automation across AWS, Docker, Terraform and Kubernetes.

You will mentor engineers, drive cross‑team initiatives, and own recovery objectives, SLIs, and runbooks while partnering with product teams to minimize disruption and improve availability for users worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate chaos engineering experiments to identify weaknesses.
