Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in a hybrid role (Exton/Philadelphia area) to automate cloud-based services infrastructure and tooling with a strong DevOps focus.

You will lead automation, provisioning, monitoring, and incident response across Azure and related platforms, while collaborating with global teams to uphold reliability and performance for Bentley's infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Cloud Services development, deployment and/or IT Cloud infrastructure setup and maintenance (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Scripting/automation using PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, JavaScript or similar.
• Programming experience in C#, Python, Golang, Ruby, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AD, DNS, IIS, and networking.
• Experience with FedRAMP background screening.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, YAML) or GitHub Enterprise.
• Strong SQL Server/Azure SQL knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Ability to document architectures and operational processes for cloud systems.
• Willingness to learn a wide array of cloud technologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a global team; no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Automate CI/CD infrastructure and tooling via Azure DevOps and scripting.
• Automate Azure deployments, resource provisioning, and related tasks.
• Troubleshoot application, deployment, and operations issues.
• Investigate availability, performance, and outages; provide technical leadership for resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and policies.
• Continuously improve processes/tools; maintain monitoring and on-call responsibilities.
• Share on-call duties and collaborate with engineers to fix production issues.
