Job summary

Greenbox Capital is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Security Engineer to own and protect the Azure platform, drive security controls, and ensure compliant, reliable cloud operations. You will partner with Technology leadership, Engineering, Data & AI, Compliance, and external providers.

The role emphasizes IaC, automation, and strong collaboration to support growth while maintaining governance, risk, and cost controls across cloud services.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of hands-on cloud infrastructure or security engineering experience.
• Ownership of production Azure environments and demonstrated senior-level responsibility.
• Experience translating control requirements into technical designs and evidence.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, operate, and maintain Azure subscriptions, management groups, networking, compute, storage, platform services, and shared infrastructure.
• Establish standards for environment separation, naming, tagging, approved services, secure configuration, and change management.
• Own cloud identity, network, and security controls including Entra ID, MFA, PIM, RBAC, and emergency-access procedures.
• Operate cloud-security posture management, vulnerability remediation, logging and detection, incident response and runbooks.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates; promote modular, testable deployments.
