Job summary

Blue Yonder is seeking a Principal Cloud Security Engineer to secure our multi-cloud environment, spanning on-prem and public clouds, with emphasis on IaC, Zero Trust, and adaptive IAM across hybrid setups.

You will drive security through design, implement cloud-native controls, collaborate with Product Development and Infrastructure teams, and contribute to governance and compliance while ensuring resilient cloud operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cloud and/or infrastructure security
• 3+ years focused on Microsoft Azure or multi-cloud environments
• Experience with cloud-native security engineering tooling and IAM
• Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, Terraform)
• Familiarity with Zero Trust, least privilege, and governance models

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures following best practices (NIST, CIS, Zero Trust)
• Deploy and manage Azure-native security services (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Firewall, Policy)
• Develop and enforce cloud-native security controls via IaC and organizational standards
• Lead Zero Trust adoption including network segmentation and least privilege access
• Modernize IAM systems and integrate with cloud-native identity providers
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud services and infrastructure
• Build automated security monitoring and alerting using cloud-native tools
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and secure code deployment
• Respond to security incidents across cloud and hybrid environments and perform root-cause analysis
• Stay current with emerging threats and cloud security tech, influencing strategy
• Support continuous compliance (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2) with monitoring/reporting
