Job summary

Sinch is seeking a Platform Engineer III to join its Cloud Platform Infrastructure team. You will help build, shape, and optimize the infrastructure underpinning Sinch products, partnering with engineering to drive automation, reliability, and scalability in a distributed cloud environment.

You'll design and maintain microservice architectures on AWS/GCP/Azure, implement IaC with Terraform, and improve observability using Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Qualifications

Experience designing and operating scalable cloud infrastructure.
Strong background in Linux production systems and automation.
Ability to mentor engineers and lead initiatives from conception to execution.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams to define system requirements.
Design, build, and maintain cloud-based microservice infrastructure.
Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
Proactively identify issues and use monitoring tools to ensure health.
Ensure datastores perform with high availability and performance.
Plan for dynamic scaling to meet customer demand.
