Job summary

Sinch is seeking a Platform Engineer III to join our Cloud Platform Infrastructure team. You will help build, scale, and secure infrastructure that underpins Sinch products, collaborating with engineering to automate workflows and improve reliability.

You will design and maintain cloud-based microservice infrastructure, use IaC tools like Terraform, and work with monitoring stacks to ensure high availability and performance. Remote-first role with hub collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure and software engineering.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Kubernetes expertise including cluster management and autoscaling.
• Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana).
• Experience with databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL/DynamoDB/Redis/Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with queue-based processing and event workflows.
• Strong coding skills in Python/NodeJS/Java, etc.
• Production systems in Linux and public cloud environments.
• Ability to architect solutions and lead initiatives.
