Job summary

Sinch in the United States is seeking a Platform Engineer III to join our Cloud Platform Infrastructure team. You will help build, shape, and optimize the infrastructure behind a wide range of Sinch products, collaborating with engineering teams to drive improvements and automate workflows.

You'll focus on reliability, scalability, and security, mentoring junior engineers and leading initiatives from concept to execution as we solve complex distributed systems challenges for customers around the

Qualifications

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure and/or software engineering.
• Extensive experience with AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Expertise with containers and Kubernetes, including cluster management and autoscaling.
• Proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring/observability (Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana).
• Experience with databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL/DynamoDB/Redis/Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with queue-based processing and event workflows.
• Strong coding skills in Python/NodeJS/Java/ etc.
• Production systems in Linux and public cloud environments.
• Ability to architect solutions and lead initiatives end-to-end.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and foster inclusive teamwork.
