Job summary

Wayve is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and operate secure, scalable cloud environments with governance and standardization. You will own Kubernetes lifecycle, develop IaC tooling, and enhance observability platforms while partnering with engineering teams to support scalable software delivery.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud infrastructure work, security and FinOps tooling, and automation, with a hybrid work model across our global offices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes administration.
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code and container tech.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate secure, scalable cloud environments with governance and standards.
• Develop IaC, automation, and self-service tooling for safe provisioning.
• Manage Kubernetes cluster lifecycle, configuration, upgrades, and recovery.
• Operate and improve shared developer environments and observability platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to meet app needs and enable scalable delivery.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to improve infrastructure.
