You will lead end-to-end design and delivery, balancing reliability and performance, and help improve observability. You’ll mentor peers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years industry experience designing, building, and supporting backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of Python runtime environments and package management.
• Proficiency in multiple languages (Python, Go, C/C++, Java).
• Experience with public clouds and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the design and implementation of complex backend services in a cloud-native, microservices-based environment.
• Make architecture and technical decisions balancing reliability, scalability, performance, and operability.
• Drive end-to-end projects from requirements through production rollout.
• Improve service reliability by defining SLOs/SLAs and observability.
• Collaborate to define APIs, data models, and integration points.
• Identify platform improvements to raise engineering productivity.
• Mentor engineers through reviews and guidance.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and high technical standards.
