Job summary
HTC Global Services is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer specializing in OpenShift, Ansible, and automation to build and secure enterprise platform services across hybrid clouds. You will manage OpenShift/Kubernetes workloads, automate infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation, and support multi-cloud deployments in AWS and/or GCP.
The role emphasizes OS lifecycle management, platform modernization, and continuous improvement, with a strong DevSecOps and SRE mindset.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant infrastructure or platform engineering experience.
- Hands-on OpenShift and Kubernetes experience.
- Public cloud experience: AWS or GCP.
- Experience with multi-cloud security models and cross-account delivery.
- On-premises tech: VMware and Linux/Windows server administration.
- Strong OS lifecycle management, patching, and hardening practices.
- Proficient in Python or shell scripting and Git/GitLab CI/CD.
Responsibilities
- Manage OpenShift/Kubernetes workloads and OCP Virtualization.
- Automate platform services using Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation.
- Deliver platform services across AWS and/or GCP in multi-account setups.
- Maintain OS lifecycle, golden images, patching, hardening.
- Contribute to resiliency, DR, and data protection solutions.
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles per standards.
- Document design decisions, assumptions, and performance metrics.
- Participate in agile sprints and team walkthroughs.
