Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the design, governance, and optimization of a secure multi-cloud foundation supporting our AI and data protection platforms. You will shape onboarding, IAM, and cost governance across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, while mentoring a growing CloudOps team.

You’ll drive automation pipelines and IaC templates, advancing secure, scalable cloud ops, security controls, and compliance across deployments.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of CloudOps, Engineering, or Software Architecture experience, with deep expertise in at least one major public cloud (AWS/GCP/AZure) and familiarity with others (OCI, etc).
Expertise in multi-cloud IAM, Org/Project design, security policies, logging/monitoring, and access controls.
Strong skills in automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform/CDK/Azure Bicep.
Proven experience in cloud financial management and cost optimization strategies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, mentorship, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and governance of secure multi-cloud foundations across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
Drive secure landing zones, multi-account structures, IAM policies, and cost governance.
Develop IaC templates and automation pipelines with Terraform, CloudFormation, Flux, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD.
Identify cost-optimization opportunities via rightsizing, storage tiering, and architecture reviews.
Mentor and lead a growing CloudOps team.
