Job summary

NetApp is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain cloud-based solutions, focusing on complex problem-solving, testing, automation and production deployments. You will lead the design and implementation of managed Cloud Services and collaborate with the Software Engineering team to deliver features in production.

You will design and implement managed Cloud Services, contribute to the full SDLC, and help ensure reliability and performance in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficient with C++ or Golang.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience designing REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes and serverless computing.
• Experience with SDLC and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in incident management with 24X7 on-call rotations.
• Lead feature delivery across the full software lifecycle.
• Participate in design, development, verification and delivery of systems or subsystems.
• Monitor and measure system health, availability and latency.
• Improve performance, availability and reliability of production systems.
• Contribute to development, bug fixes, updates, RCAs and automation.
• Troubleshoot production outages hands-on.
• Drive continuous improvement of production operations.
