NetApp’s Cloud Platforms team seeks a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data management solutions across major clouds. Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or OCI is required to deliver industry-leading capabilities for NetApp customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development and cloud engineering.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Strong hands-on operational knowledge in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or OCI).
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and collaboration skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong technical understanding of NetApp's data management and cloud interdependencies.
• Participate in all phases of product development including design, development, test automation, debugging and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Handle unstructured tasks and convert vague requirements into clearly articulated ones.
• Operate under limited supervision and drive results independently.
• Engage in peer-to-peer collaboration and continuous learning and improvement.
