Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Cloud Platform team. The Cloud Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining Aurora’s cloud infrastructure and development platform.

In this role you will drive upgrades to Kubernetes infrastructure, build developer-facing tooling, and collaborate across teams to advance projects. You will contribute production code in Go, Python, or C++, and work with AWS/EKS to deliver scalable services for developers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping commercial products and services, preferably in Go.
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS/EKS preferred).
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals.
• Production code in Go, Python or C++.

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage upgrades and improvements to our Kubernetes infrastructure
• Use your deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals to build developer-facing tooling and infrastructure that creates developer happiness and improves development velocity
• Work with teams across the company to gather requirements, gather support and drive projects forward
