Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer in Charlotte, NC to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. You will implement IaC modules, CI/CD pipelines, and secure, cost-effective infrastructure, collaborating with security and software teams.

You will drive platform reliability, governance, and observability with Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring tools, while advancing DevSecOps practices and cloud-native tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of cloud/Platform engineering and DevOps experience.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Build secure, highly available cloud infrastructure with cost efficiency.
• Develop IaC modules using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing/deployments.
• Operate containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, security controls, and incident response.
