Job summary

The Gund Company Inc is seeking a Platform Senior Computer Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and scale enterprise compute, virtualization, and cloud platforms. You will shape identity and resiliency strategies while supporting global operations and modernization efforts.

You’ll lead modernization efforts, automate processes, and collaborate with cybersecurity, IT operations, and business leaders to deliver enterprise solutions across North America and Europe.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, or platform engineering experience.
• Expertise with VMware vSphere and Windows Server environments.
• Strong Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID experience.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and hybrid infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting, architecture, and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer enterprise compute, virtualization, cloud, and identity platforms.
• Lead infrastructure modernization and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Manage VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and cloud platforms.
• Develop secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure standards.
• Improve disaster recovery, backup, and recovery capabilities.
• Drive automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Partner with cybersecurity, IT operations, and business leaders to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Support global growth, acquisitions, and facility expansion projects.
