Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building service-oriented architectures, APIs, or distributed systems.
• Development experience in Java, C++, or C#, plus scripting languages.
• Experience with cloud platform teams and supporting compute, networking, search, and storage needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Collaborative, agile development environment experience.
• Interest or hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools and LLM-based automation.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop software for tasks related to designing, debugging, and building software applications or operating systems.
• Provide technical leadership to other software developers.
• Design, implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet evolving needs.
• Design, develop, test, and operate components of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers and partner teams to build scalable distributed systems.
• Improve engineering workflows and contribute to AI-enabled tools and automation for code review, test generation, documentation, operational triage, and release workflows.
• Analyze different parts of the stack to understand distributed system interactions.
• Work in a collaborative agile environment delivering reliable platform services for Oracle's IaaS cloud.
