Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Staff Cloud Platform Engineer to own and evolve a large-scale Azure/Kubernetes platform powering energy forecasting and AI workloads. The role is fully remote in the United States, with global collaboration across distributed teams, focusing on reliability, security, observability, and cost efficiency.

You will lead complex infrastructure programs, drive design and deployment, and mentor engineers while enhancing platform capabilities for faster development and robust data

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering or SRE.
• Experience operating Kubernetes in production (AKS/AWS/GKE).
• Terraform in large codebases with IaC and GitOps.
• Strong Azure experience; willingness to deepen Azure expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead evolution of cloud infrastructure across AKS clusters.
• Develop and maintain large Terraform codebase with modules.
• Improve CI/CD via GitHub Actions, Atlantis, and GitOps workflows.
• Ensure data stores reliability (MySQL, ClickHouse) and backups.
• Design secure, auditable AI agent environments with proper identity controls.
• Improve observability with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Tempo.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cloud spend without compromising reliability.
• Lead multi-month infrastructure initiatives from design to rollout.
• Mentor engineers and document systems and procedures.
