Iperium is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our growing US software company that builds facilities-management and CMMS software for large retail networks. You will own projects from design through delivery and influence the platform's architecture and engineering standards.

You will focus on hands-on work with AWS and Terraform, build reusable modules, design CI/CD pipelines, support EKS/Kubernetes/Fargate, and improve observability while applying security best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering, infra, or DevOps.
• Hands-on AWS experience required.
• Advanced Terraform knowledge including modules, remote state, drift detection, and state operations.
• Experience building/troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with Kubernetes, EKS, Fargate and GitOps workflows.
• Strong Python and shell scripting skills.
• Observability, production support and infrastructure security experience.
• Ability to own ambiguous technical problems and deliver with limited oversight.

• Building reusable, versioned Terraform modules.
• Managing and improving AWS infrastructure.
• Designing and standardising CI/CD pipelines.
• Supporting EKS, Kubernetes and AWS Fargate environments.
• Improving observability through instrumentation, dashboards and alerts.
• Applying security best practices across IAM, secrets, keys and certificates.
• Supporting production systems and participating in the on-call rotation.
• Writing runbooks, documenting architectural decisions and mentoring newer engineers.
