Job summary

New York Life Insurance Co. is seeking a Senior Associate, Cloud Platform Engineer within the TDAV organization.

You will design, build, and operate secure, scalable AWS cloud platforms, applying IaC, automation, and DevOps practices to enable enterprise app development and digital innovation. You will work with Cloud Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Application Development teams to strengthen platform reliability, observability, and compliance, delivering self-service infrastructure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years designing, building, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services.
Strong experience with AWS, Terraform, IaC, cloud automation, and Git-based CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Design, build, automate, and improve secure, scalable AWS cloud platforms using Terraform and automation.
Develop reusable platform capabilities and tooling to streamline cloud operations and self-service consumption.
Apply SRE practices to improve availability, observability, and incident response.
Design, implement, and operate Kubernetes and EKS environments with security integrations.
Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot infra issues and advance platform capabilities.
