Job summary

Reality Defender is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own our cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, architecting secure, scalable systems and automating deployment. You will implement IaC with Terraform, manage Kubernetes workloads, and enhance observability with DataDog.

You will lead incident response, drive reliability, and collaborate with Security to reduce risk. You will mentor engineers, shape the long-term roadmap for our cloud and DevOps practices, and enable high-scale AI/ML

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure, with hands-on ownership.
• Expert-level AWS and Azure experience; strong security mindset.
• Deep cloud architecture, networking, and reliability knowledge.
• Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Strong Linux admin skills and scripting in Python/Bash/Go.
• Solid monitoring/observability and incident response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable architectures.
• Build and maintain IaC using Terraform and automation tools.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and release automation.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Establish observability using DataDog with monitoring, logging, and metrics.
• Improve reliability, uptime, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Security on risk remediation.
• Define infrastructure standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Mentor engineers and drive cloud infrastructure excellence.
• Support SOC2/ISO/FedRAMP compliance efforts as needed.
