Referment, in partnership with a top global hedge fund, is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer for its New York infrastructure team. You will design and build a resilient cloud platform spanning AWS and Azure, delivering automation, security and scalable services for a performance-sensitive investment environment.

The role covers architecture, automation, networking, security and observability, with opportunities to influence technical decisions across regions and vendors.

Competenze

5–10 years in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
Experience across AWS and Azure and hybrid-cloud environments.
Strong scripting and automation capabilities.

Mansioni

Design, deploy and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
Shape cloud architecture and engineering standards for a global business.
Build cloud-native platforms using containers, microservices and serverless tech.
Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform, Ansible and related tools.
Create automated deployment pipelines to speed changes safely.
Monitor, optimise and troubleshoot performance, security and cost.
Implement observability with CloudWatch, Grafana and Datadog.
