Job summary

CoreWeave is hiring a Senior Engineer for the Cloud Platform API team. You will design and operate gateways that front CoreWeave's control plane, handling routing, TLS/mTLS, and observability, while driving migrations and setting technical direction.

You will mentor engineers and collaborate across teams such as CKS, IAM, and Cloud Console to deliver scalable, reliable infrastructure. You will own the API Gateways, influence deployment across zones, and ensure a high-performance, secure control

Qualifications

• Production experience writing Go.
• Deep experience with L4/L7 load balancing and proxies.
• Deep Kubernetes experience, Gateway API or Ingress.
• Strong TLS/mTLS and edge authentication knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own the API and Kubernetes Gateways API stacks (routing, TLS/mTLS, rate limiting, observability).
• Drive large-scale migrations (HAProxy → Envoy) across zones with no user-visible regression.
• Manage networking at scale: L4/L7 proxying, load balancing, global routing, failover, encryption, performance tuning.
• Set engineering standards and direction for the gateway stack and infra.
• Mentor engineers, lead post-mortems, and coordinate with multiple teams.
