Job summary

Oracle Corporation's OCI Robotics Cloud team seeks a Senior Platform Software Engineer to own the design and implementation of production robotics cloud services and platform components. You will translate requirements into high-quality software and collaborate with cloud infrastructure, AI, and robotics teams to deliver capabilities from design through production.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• 3+ years building backend services, distributed systems, or robotics software.
• Strong programming in Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Experience APIs, backend services, or distributed systems.
• Cloud-native tech including Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD.
• Proven ability to deliver reliable, maintainable production software.
• Ability to own design and implementation of meaningful software components.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of production Robotics Cloud services and platform components.
• Design, test, deploy, and operate cloud-native services for robot onboarding, identity, fleet management, telemetry, and digital twins.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs using modern distributed systems.
• Develop secure APIs, SDKs, service contracts, and edge integration.
• Contribute to AI-assisted, spec-driven robot onboarding with adapters and SDK generation.
• Integrate with robotics frameworks, simulation environments, AI models, and edge devices.
• Improve reliability, observability, security, and performance; write maintainable production code.
