Job summary

Kforce is partnering with a technology-driven employer in Stamford, CT, seeking a Senior Cloud Platform & DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure from design through production. You will focus on automation, security, and scalable AWS platforms that power critical business operations.

You will design and implement IaC, build secure cloud pipelines, and collaborate with engineers to raise platform reliability and performance. This role offers strong growth and cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, Cloud/Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience and cloud-native architectures.
• Infrastructure as Code experience (CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or equivalents.
• Knowledge of IAM, SSO, SAML, OIDC, and least-privilege security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop and maintain AWS-based platforms for mission-critical apps and data services.
• Manage containers, serverless workloads, databases, APIs, storage, and networking.
• Improve monitoring, logging, and operational visibility in production.
• Automate security controls, access management, and compliance processes.
• Build internal tools and automation to streamline provisioning and developer workflows.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for reliability and speed.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues and improve performance.
• Participate in on-call rotation for cloud infrastructure and critical services.
