Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior DevOps Software Engineer to join the Platform team in Denver. You will design and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, collaborate with developers to streamline workflows, and ensure reliable deployments with IaC using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.

You will mentor peers, contribute to runbooks and post-mortems, and help improve engineering culture while supporting observability and security across services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 3 years’ software engineering experience.
• 5 years software engineering experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, test, automate, maintain, and enhance cloud-based infrastructure.
• Review design/code and ensure best practices are followed.
• Mentor team members and contribute to Scrum process improvements.
