Northern Trust seeks a Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications, and manage IaC with Terraform, while ensuring security and high availability across production systems. You will collaborate with global teams, mentor engineers, and focus on reliable, secure software delivery using AKS, Dynatrace, and Azure Monitor.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of DevOps/Software Engineering experience with complex systems in a distributed cross-functional team.
• Proficient with Terraform Cloud: Deep expertise in Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, GitHub, Gradle, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Languages: Python, Go, Java, Bash.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with Confluent Kafka.
• Security and compliance practices in cloud environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Gradle/Maven builds.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Containerize apps with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes (AKS).
• Set up monitoring with Dynatrace and Azure Monitor and implement alerting.
• Apply security best practices, encryption, and controls across infra and pipelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with dev/ops teams and mentor others.
• Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and ensure high availability (SRE).
