Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Server & Network Lead to design and operate cloud-hosted compute and network infrastructure for mission-critical workloads. You will architect scalable environments on leading cloud platforms and drive infrastructure-as-code pipelines.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with security and applications teams, and define runbooks and change-management processes while optimizing cost and performance in a highly regulated federal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/engineering.
• 8+ years in systems, network, or cloud engineering with hands-on public cloud work.
• Expertise with virtual networking, compute, storage, and load balancing in enterprise environments.
• Experience building IaC with Terraform and scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud infrastructure; on-call rotations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and U.S. citizenship for this federal IT role.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure architectures including networks and security boundaries.
• Configure compute, storage, and networking services on major cloud platforms.
• Develop and maintain IaC templates and automation scripts.
• Monitor, optimize, and lead incident response for infrastructure and connectivity.
• Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to align designs with requirements.
• Define standards, runbooks, and change-management processes for cloud infra.
• Evaluate new cloud services and tools to improve scalability and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and informal leadership to engineers.
