Maximus is seeking an IT Architect - Cloud Platform to lead architecture across cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and data platforms. The role influences multiple teams, defines standards, and drives platform modernization while staying hands-on where needed.

This remote position requires 7+ years in cloud/platform roles and strong AWS, Kubernetes, and security expertise to ensure scalable, secure platforms and efficient software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud, platform engineering, DevSecOps, or infrastructure architecture roles.
• Proven track record designing and scaling enterprise cloud platforms on AWS.
• Deep expertise in DevSecOps, secure SDLC, and software supply chain security.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and cloud native architectures at scale.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins), SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory/Xray, and GitOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise SaaS and PaaS platform architectures and deployment frameworks.
• Lead evaluation, design, and implementation of cloud platform solutions.
• Mentor engineers and stakeholders on cloud platform technologies.
• Maintain HA/DR and security posture for platform infrastructure.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, IaC, testing frameworks, and deployment processes.
