Maximus is seeking an IT Architect - Cloud Platform to lead the vision, design, and evolution of enterprise cloud, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and data platforms across the organization. This remote role influences multiple teams, drives platform modernization, and aligns with security and compliance objectives while remaining hands-on in critical areas.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
7+ years of experience in cloud, platform engineering, DevSecOps, or infrastructure architecture.
Proven track record designing and scaling enterprise cloud platforms on AWS.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes (EKS) and cloud native architectures.
Strong experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins) and security tooling.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise AWS architecture patterns for multi-account, secure environments.
Lead cloud platform design and modernization across compute, storage, networking, IAM, and data services.
Guide DevSecOps strategy and secure SDLC with policy enforcement.
Drive CI/CD, IaC, testing, and platform operations.
Mentor engineers and influence architecture decisions at scale.
