Job summary

Xona is hiring a senior cloud infrastructure engineer to own and evolve our AWS multi-account architecture. You will design complex VPC topologies, implement automated provisioning with Terraform and AWS CDK, and partner with SRE to ensure observability across environments.

You will enable product teams with self-service templates, enforcing security and cost controls. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in IT, 4+ years in AWS cloud architecture, and strong experience with VPCs, Direct Connect,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in cloud architecture and AWS.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect).
• Extensive IaC experience and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Container technologies and orchestration platforms (ECS, EKS).
• Security-focused design using least privilege and Zero Trust principles.
• FinOps practices including cost management, RI/ Savings plans, and tagging policies.

Responsibilities

• Own, evolve, and scale AWS multi-account cloud architecture.
• Design and manage complex networking topologies with secure segmentation and low latency.
• Drive standardization and automation of provisioning with Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Collaborate with SRE to implement monitoring, logging, and tracing across cloud environments.
• Serve as internal consultant for product engineering, providing self-service templates and architectural guidance.
