Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Platform Architect to lead cloud architecture and hands‑on delivery across enterprise AWS environments. You will drive IaC with Pulumi or AWS CDK, design multi‑account structures, define guardrails, and ensure secure, cost‑effective, scalable platforms that support healthcare services.

The role blends strategic architecture with hands‑on delivery, mentoring, and collaboration with engineering teams to translate designs into measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in cloud architecture or cloud engineering, with enterprise AWS design experience.
• Experience designing enterprise AWS platforms, multi-account strategies, governance and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Define cloud-native architecture patterns for AWS including compute, networking, storage, security, identity, and AI/ML workloads.
• Evolve standards, guardrails, and reference architectures for secure, scalable solutions.
• Make build vs. buy decisions with business value in mind.
