Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Platform Architect to lead cloud architecture, governance, and delivery. The role emphasizes hands-on IaC, multi-account AWS design, and healthcare regulatory considerations to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-efficient platforms.

Responsibilities include prototyping cloud infrastructure, contributing to IaC repositories, and guiding delivery teams to achieve architectural fidelity and business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in cloud architecture/engineering with AWS enterprise deliverables.
• Experience designing enterprise AWS cloud platforms and multi-account strategies.
• Experience with regulated industries (healthcare) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define cloud-native architecture patterns for AWS compute, networking, storage, security, and AI/ML workloads.
• Build and maintain IaC using Pulumi or AWS CDK with production-quality stacks.
• Prototype end-to-end cloud infrastructure and hand off to engineering for scaling.
• Provide technical direction and mentor the delivery team; produce architecture documents and runbooks.
