Job summary

iSupport Worldwide is seeking a Cloud Operational Engineer (L3) to be the senior technical authority in our Cloud Operations team. You will own end-to-end platform health, tackle complex incidents, and turn expertise into runbooks and standards for the wider team.

The role focuses on operations, not projects, with lot of emphasis on identity and access management, platform operations across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Intune, and multi-tenant client environments.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10+ years in cloud/identity or workplace engineering, including time at L3 or SME level
• Final escalation point in production with service commitments
• Degree or equivalent practical IT experience
• Expert-level Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
• Deep Entra ID expertise: CA, MFA, SSO, PIM, app registrations, service principals
• Strong Azure operational capability: RBAC, VMs, storage, Key Vault
• Expert Intune and endpoint management across Windows/macOS/iOS/Android
• Azure Virtual Desktop / Windows 365 troubleshooting
• SAML/SCIM provisioning and claims mapping
• DNS and mail authentication records
• PowerShell automation to production standard
• Managed service provider experience across multiple tenants

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain live platforms
• Own alert response and runbook execution
• Root cause analysis and problem management
• Develop and maintain runbooks and standards
• Drive automation to remove repetitive work
• Collaborate with Engineering (PS) for handoffs
• Maintain documentation in Confluence
• Work across multiple client tenants with strict isolation
• Support SOC 2, ISO 27001 and GDPR obligations
• Communicate technical details clearly in incident situations
