Job summary

SpyCloud is seeking an experienced Cloud Ops Engineer to design, automate, and maintain secure infrastructure powering APIs, AI workloads, and data workflows. You will collaborate with engineering to bring products into production, automate deployments, and ensure scalability and security across services.

The role emphasizes hands-on scripting, AWS expertise, and willingness to work in a fast-paced, AI-forward environment with strong security requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a Cloud Ops/Platform Ops/DevOps role maintaining production infrastructure.
• Experience in highly available SaaS/cloud environments is preferred.
• Strong expertise with AWS services and IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible, AWS CLI/SDK).
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash) and Linux environments.
• Solid grasp of networking concepts and troubleshooting for bare metal and containers.
• Experience supporting AI/ML systems and integrating LLMs into production.

Responsibilities

• Design, improve, and maintain secure, durable infrastructure for APIs, AI operations, web apps, and ETL workflows.
• Collaborate with developers to bring new products into production.
• Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring across the SDLC.
• Continuously improve operational processes for scalability, security, and availability.
• Meet information security and compliance standards (SOC 2/ISO27001/CMMC).
• Implement and uphold security measures across all infrastructure components.
