Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Staff Cloud Network Engineer to lead secure, scalable cloud networks across AWS and Azure, implementing hub-and-spoke patterns with centralized inspection. You will deploy Palo Alto firewalls, integrate cloud with data centers and offices, and automate infrastructure using Terraform and modern CI/CD practices.

You will collaborate across Cloud, Platform, Infrastructure, Security, and application teams to standardize connectivity, improve performance and availability,

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, implementing, and supporting complex production network environments with cloud networking responsibilities.
• Advanced hands-on experience with AWS and Azure networking, with deep expertise in at least one.
• Experience with Terraform, Python/Ansible for network automation and IaC.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD for network changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and evolution of secure, highly available cloud networks across AWS and Azure.
• Architect multi-region, multi-account connectivity with Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute, and more.
• Develop standardized designs for routing, segmentation, and centralized inspection.
• Design and deploy Palo Alto Cloud NGFW/VM-Series with HA and integration.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and network automation with Python/Ansible.
• Establish Git-based workflows and CI/CD for change validation and deployment.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Cloud, Platform, Security teams on best practices.
