Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Staff Cloud Network Engineer to lead secure, resilient cloud and hybrid network architectures across AWS and Azure. You will design hub-and-spoke patterns, deploy Palo Alto firewalls, and automate infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities include multi-region connectivity, network automation, and implementing standardized designs with strong observability and security. Remote, contract role requiring W2.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, implementing, and supporting complex production network environments with cloud focus.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure networking.
• Experience with multi-region architectures and hybrid connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and evolution of secure, highly available network architectures across AWS and Azure.
• Architect multi-region, multi-account, and multi-subscription connectivity using cloud services.
• Develop standardized designs for routing, segmentation, and centralized inspection.
• Design and deploy cloud network firewalls with high availability and integration.
• Build infrastructure as code and network automation using Terraform, Python, Ansible.
• Establish Git-based workflows and CI/CD for network changes.
