Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Staff Cloud Network Engineer for remote engagement in the United States. You will lead secure, resilient cloud and hybrid network architectures (AWS/Azure), develop automation with Terraform and Python, and collaborate across Cloud, Platform, and Security teams to standardize connectivity and observability.

The role requires deep cloud networking expertise, hands-on firewall deployment, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing complex production network environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and evolution of secure, highly available network architectures across AWS and Azure.
• Architect multi-region, multi-account, and multi-subscription connectivity.
• Develop standardized designs for routing, segmentation, centralized inspection, internet egress, private connectivity, DNS.
• Design and deploy Palo Alto Networks Cloud NGFW and VM-Series firewalls with high availability.
• Build reusable infrastructure as code with Terraform and develop network automation using Python, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Establish Git-based workflows and CI/CD for network changes.
• Mentor engineers on cloud networking, IaC, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with vendors and participate in on-call rotations.
