Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Network Systems Engineer to support DoD missions by designing and deploying reliable networks, configuring equipment, and maintaining systems. You’ll work with customers to translate strategic goals into actionable network requirements and collaborate to ensure interoperability and scalable performance.

Applicants should have 5+ years with SolarWinds, 3+ years with firewall/security design (Palo Alto/Cisco/Juniper), TS/SCI clearance, and a DoD 8140 Level II

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining SolarWinds network monitoring and management solutions.
• 3+ years of experience with firewall and enterprise security design, including device hardening, intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems, SIEM, firewalls, internet protocol security, and vulnerability assessment
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco, or Juniper firewalls
• Experience in network security and enterprise IT systems design for large commercial or government environments
• Experience with boundary protection
• Knowledge of packet analysis tools, such as Wireshark
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• DoD 8140 baseline Level II Certification, such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, or DoD Cyber Workforce Framework Certification
