Mile 2 is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the development, integration, sustainment, and modernization of cloud-based software for a Department of the Air Force customer. You will work on backend or full-stack development, APIs, microservices, data storage, and containerized deployments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field.
- 7+ years of software development experience and production software delivery.
- Experience with backend services, APIs, or full-stack applications.
- Experience with CI/CD, source control, automated testing, and Agile/Scrum.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native software applications and services.
- Develop backend services, APIs, microservices, and components for enterprise data capabilities.
- Work with databases, object storage, metadata, tagging, search, and data retrieval.
- Build automation for deployment, testing, and operational sustainment.
- Develop and deploy containerized apps to Kubernetes environments.
- Integrate software into CI/CD pipelines and Gov GitLab repos.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture discussions.
